Before Cleaning
He worked in an intensive care unit and was involved in the cleaning of medical equipment and MRSA cleans. Before this, he worked as a cleaner in the same hospital cleaning theatres, radiotherapy units, wards, clinics, and eventually in Intensive Care which no doubt led to his entry into the NHS. He cleaned for Royal Mail cleaning branch and sorting offices all over Dorset and parts of Somerset and Hampshire, and a local car dealership cleaning its workshop and again at Dorset County Hospital, and Magna Housing Association through recruitment agencies.
Paul is originally from the Dorchester area, and studied law at the University of Central Lancashire and Psychology at the University of Derby and at one time was undertaking qualifications to become a Chartered Legal executive lawyer specialising in civil litigation ( medical negligence and personal injury) and other private client work. He also worked part-time, as a Mental Health Advocate working with patients detained under the Mental Health Act 1983 (amended 2007) where he specialised in the advocacy and rights of patients with dementia as well as those with other mental health issues for nearly three years.
He grew up with three Shih Tzu’s and arguably a Psychotic cat! He enjoys military History and criminal psychology, and is somewhat of a buff on the Titanic disaster. He is a qualified crime scene cleaner and has published books on cleaning. He also tries to play badminton when he gets any spare time.

Paul The Cleaner
Paul has now been trading for over ten years since March 2011 and before this he was working as a cleaner in various environments to support himself through his academic studies, so he now has over twenty years of experience in the industry. He provides a range of cleaning services to his customers, but his principal areas are general cleaning, window cleaning, and carpet cleaning whether it be commercial or domestic- He is also the founder and owner of the business. Now living in Upton, Poole, he hopes to expand his business to operate in both west and east Dorset.
Paul has often worked for people connected with social services and local community mental health teams, (these organisations do not give endorsements and no inferences can be made of Paul’s cleaning and character from this), with Paul also having an enhanced DBS status which can be checked on the update service for those organisations which have access to it.
Paul sees his customers more like friends, offering a personal yet professional service (more like people he would actually want to invite to his wedding) and helps with additional tasks whenever he can such as a spot of gardening, replacing the hinges on a shed door, taking some clothes to the hospital after a client’s admission, taking out the waste, calling for a plumber when a deaf client had a flooded bathroom, helping them configure their emails, posting letters, topping up an electric meter helping housebound clients by supplying them with cash and food paid into his business account on their behalf by the persons nominated for Lasting Power of Attorney, and moving furniture. This is just as useful for commercial clients as Paul continually works alongside his client’s staff and their own customers.
